I love that the Mulleavy sisters are continuing to explore the clean lines and precision that they started with the last collection in their break from their previous textured layers and sculptural and dark debut collections. The double collar is phenomenal and subversive, restricting and revealing at the same time. In true hipster fashion they took inspiration from the Malick film but also threw in a Wizard of Oz nod since they were already in Kansas. My only objection was the slightly tribal embroidered boots,where were the elaborate Kirkwoods?
